About the teacher

Megan Kirby

Megan S. Kirby, PhD, BCBA (pronouns: she/her) is the Director of Dissemination and Implementation Programs for Language Dynamics Group. She earned her PhD in Behavioral & Community Sciences from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Virginia. Dr. Kirby’s work in the areas of implementation science, culturally responsive practices, and intervention research focuses on the creation and scalability of effective early childhood (birth-8 years) and caregiver training programs to reduce educational disparities that exist among marginalized populations and in under resourced communities. She values multiple interdisciplinary research-practice partnerships and sustains meaningful relationships with researchers and professionals from other disciplines. She has published work in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, to include American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, Behavior Analysis in Practice, Behavior and Social Issues, Early Childhood Education, Perspectives on Behavior Science, and Reading & Writing Quarterly.
