Module 3: Video Lesson

This module covers how to use the LDG MTSS Road Map to plan for grade-specific, school-, and/or district-wide roll out of the CUBED-3 for universal benchmarking and progress monitoring. You will understand how to make decisions regarding which assessments to use and when to give students specific CUBED-3 tests (i.e., DDM and NLM). Module 4: Video Lesson

Module 5: Video Lesson

Module 6: Video Lesson

In Module 6, you will learn how word recognition is measured via the NLM Reading assessment. We will cover how the researchers developed the decodable passages, and practice administration and scoring procedures. Module 7: Video Lesson

Module 7 focuses on the NLM Reading Retell. In this module, you will learn the purpose of the Retell section, observe administration procedures, and practice scoring the NLM Reading Retell with several student videos. Module 9 provides information about the design and use of the preschool NLM Listening forms, for both the English and Spanish versions. In this module, you will learn how to administer and score the NLM Listening Retell subtest, by observing administration videos and practicing scoring procedures using multiple examples of student NLM Listening Retell language samples. Module 11: Video Lesson

In Module 11, you will learn how to administer and score the NLM Questions section for both the NLM Reading and NLM Listening assessments. You will observe example NLM Questions administrations and practice scoring of the NLM Questions sub-targets: Factual, Inferential Vocabulary, and Inferential Reasoning. After administering the CUBED-3 measures, this module will teach you how to use the results to make instructional and/or intervention recommendations. We present information about how the criterion-referenced benchmarks and risk cut points were developed. You will also learn how to use the Risk Recommendations flowcharts and Composite Scores to make data-based decisions for intervention.
