About Course
Through three engaging modules (30-45 minutes each), participants will learn everything they need to know the foundation, purpose, and practical strategies behind SCC while gaining the confidence to deliver lessons with fidelity and success.
Module 1 covers the WHY, providing a sufficient background to the materials, instructional design, and teaching academic language explicitly.
Module 2 The training provides a comprehensive walkthrough of SCC’s core components, including the Teacher Book, lesson plans, and instructional materials, so teachers can begin using the curriculum right away.
Module 3 features a large set of Featuring a wealth of video examples, the course breaking down each instructional component step-by-step, for every time of lesson including:
- Narrative retelling
- Expository retelling
- Fictional story generation
- Vocabulary instruction
- Writing activities
Teachers will see SCC in action, observe effective implementation strategies, and learn practical techniques they can immediately apply in their own classrooms.
