About Course

This self-paced virtual course will provide you with explicit instruction in use of the PEARL, a cutting-edge preschool and kindergarten dyslexia and developmental language screener. You will learn the purpose of its dynamic assessment methodologies, learn how to set up and implement the Dynamic Assessment of Decoding and Dynamic Assessment of Language subtests, and have multiple opportunities to practice scoring skills and learners’ responsiveness to teaching with several student videos. Finally, you will learn how to interpret PEARL assessment results and make intervention recommendations as needed.
