We are excited to release the third edition of CUBED™! CUBED™-3 is one of the most valid, reliable, and efficient tools to measure decoding, language comprehension, and their product, reading. This third edition of CUBED™ features the following:

  • Grade-level Benchmark Booklets combine all recommended language comprehension and assessments for beginning, middle and end of year assessment periods
  • Narrative Language Measures (NLM) Reading and Listening subtests measure reading and listening comprehension through expository discourse, vocabulary complexity and inferential reasoning
    • NLM Reading assessments for grades 1-8 (benchmark and progress monitoring for grades 1-3, benchmark only for grades 4-8). NLM Reading includes grade-level decodable text in reading passages
    • NLM Listening assessments for grades PreK-Grade 3 (PreK available in Spanish)
  • Dynamic Decoding Measures (DDM) measures word recognition-related skills and includes four subtests (Phonemic Awareness, Phoneme Manipulation, Orthographic Mapping, and Decoding Inventory)
  • Manual with administration flowcharts, risk recommendation flowcharts, detailed scoring guidelines, and updated technical information
